FIELD NOTE

Field Note is a collection of seasonal preserves made in Skagit Valley, Washington.

It begins with paying attention—to what is ripening, what is abundant, and what will only be here for a little while. Fruit changes with the season, and the preserves follow.

Each preserve is recorded as an Entry. Some Entries return from year to year. Others belong only to a particular season.

Field Note is a small record of what was here.

MADE AT HOME

Field Note operates under Washington State’s Cottage Food program. Each preserve is made by Annalise in small batches in a home kitchen in Skagit Valley, Washington.

Working on this scale keeps the process close—from choosing ingredients and developing each Entry to cooking, filling, labeling, and bringing the finished jars to market.

Field Note preserves are sold directly to customers at farmers markets and seasonal pop-ups in Washington.
